Yulia Orinel is an artist, mentor, and founder of The Meta Architecture of Reality, based on the French Riviera.

Born in Russia into a creative family, Yulia grew up surrounded by art, literature, and music. Her mother is a writer and poet, and her father is a composer and jazz musician. Her own path has moved through art, fashion, philosophy, psychology, and a lifelong exploration of consciousness and human experience.

For over two decades, Yulia has studied, practised, and taught disciplines concerned with consciousness, perception, the body, and the nature of human experience.

Her path encompasses Raja Yoga and Kriya Yoga, Kalachakra, Vajrayana and Dzogchen, meditation, Qigong, breath and energy practices, martial arts, and sword practice, alongside the study of Advaita, Kashmir Shaivism, Christian mysticism, psychology, and Western philosophical and contemplative traditions.

She has received teachings and initiations within several living traditions and has studied with Indian, Tibetan, Chinese, and Burmese teachers and masters. Rather than approaching these traditions as separate systems, her work has gradually centred on the underlying principles they illuminate: attention, awareness, perception, state, imagination, embodiment, and the relationship between consciousness and lived reality.

Years of practice, teaching, and direct exploration eventually became the foundation of The Meta Architecture of Reality — Yulia’s evolving conceptual system for exploring how consciousness, perception, inner state, imagination, and embodiment participate in the way reality is experienced.

Her approach brings together contemplative knowledge and direct embodied practice with insights from psychology, philosophy, and the study of consciousness. At its centre is direct experience: the possibility of observing how shifts in attention, state, and perception transform the way a person experiences themselves and the world.

Her professional background also includes certification as an ICF Life Coach.

Art forms another dimension of the same exploration. Yulia began painting in 2020, working with mythology, sacred symbolism, archetypal imagery, nature, and inner experience. In her paintings, as in her work with consciousness, she is drawn to what exists at the threshold between the visible and the invisible — between perception, imagination, symbol, and reality.
