PRINT SPIRITUS MAGUS
The picture depicts an immortal being from the star Rigel. The star Rigel is depicted behind the head of the creature and if you look closely, you can see the constellation Orion, and Rigel as part of this constellation.
At the bottom there are four triangles, which represent the four elements: earth, water, fire, air.
Substance is the fifth alchemical element, the philosopher’s stone, which unites all the necessary elements.
To unite the ineffable. To express the inexpressible.
In the belly, in the lower dan tian, in the lower cinnabar field, the elements are united and in their centre is the pearl. The hexagonal star expresses the union of the feminine and masculine, the union of all elements, the balance of the forces of Earth and Heaven, and most importantly, the end of the alchemical Great Work.
Then the alchemical process itself is depicted:
The Great Work (transmutation),
the Elixir (the Philosopher’s Stone).
And the three most important elements to turn base metals into gold: mercury, sulphur and salt.
The Philosopher’s Stone transforms death into life, hate into love, chaos into harmony.
